NYSC ORIENTATION CAMP NSIT ATAI...............AKWA IBOM STATE

hi yall
when i got my call up letter to serve in Akwa Ibom state, seriously wasnt excited about it at all , i mean.......its too far away from home, have always been in Lagos or around Lagos all my life!!!!!!! ....when i told popsi and mumsi about the news they were sooooo happy, like my popsi was jumping like i just won a lottery, because i didnt get posted to the North, and my mumsi was all smiles.i was really confused....werent this people supposed to be sad that i was leaving home to a far away place????. Hunnn???........Anyways packed my bags and on the 5th of August 2014, I landed at Ibom Airport at exactly 11.10am.Made some friends at the airport so we took a taxi to NYSC Permanent orientation camp Ikot Itie Udung nsit atai LGA......from the airport to the camp is like 10mins, and we ended up paying a thousand naira per person, and later learnt it was meant to be 200 naira per person......chaiiii !!!!!!its not good to be a johnny just come oooooo!!!!!!!!

Registration was stressful like mad, we had to queue for really long hours, and it took like 2 full days.....kilode!!!!! .The worse part was the waking up,we had to wake up by 3am in the morning to have our baths.....then by 5am the its the wake up call.........AKA suffer suffer suffer.....5.30am its devotion time, and parade follows.then the real touture begins......those camp lectures were long  and boring.......and i was always sleeping all through........

Mostly igbos were posted to akwa ibom camp.......really i dont have anything against the igbos,  and am not been tribalistic.......but you see a fresh fine, looking brother on camp and you just tripping and all but mehnnn when he opens his mouth to speak, and his owan na accent hits you like a time bomb........you like K1LODE!!!!!!!!!!

My best spot on camp was the Mammi Market, it was fun goin to hang out with friends after the hectic, long, stressful day. i meet lots of wonderful people, made lots of new friends, and had several boys on my case......as a fine geh naa *winks*

Major boring thing on camp was there was zero social activity, no miss Nysc, no Mr Macho,no Camp fire night, and even the day  they managed to invite kcpresh and harry song,mehnn..........the camp director and state co-ordinator still managed to spoil tins for us. Highlight for me on camp was my room......Mehnn.....those gals can gist for Africa, they basically gist about everything from Sex, Boyfriends,Campboy friends, didlos, runs e.t.c

Hummmm.........was really looking forward to passing out parade, and when the day finally came was really happy...... and then all my joy was kinda taken away when they posted me to one interior village called Etim Ekpo!!!!!!!, but thats story for another day

In all NYSC 0rientation camp wasnt as bad as i Expected, and i still managed to come home looking chubby *smiles*
